SYSA Basketball Skills Development for Grades PreK-K: Fall and Winter Sessions
We’re excited to bring basketball to Spokane’s youngest players through a high-energy, skill-based program designed specifically for Pre-K kids. Offered in both the fall and winter at The Warehouse Athletic Facility, this five-week series is the perfect way to introduce your child to the sport in a supportive, active, and age-appropriate environment.
Each Saturday session focuses on building core basketball skills—dribbling, passing, shooting, and defense—through interactive drills and fun activities. We wrap up every session with a short scrimmage, giving players a chance to put their new skills into action in a team setting.

Fall Session Dates:
2025 Fall Session: Saturdays 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 12/6 (no session on 11/29 for Thanksgiving holiday)
PreK-K: 10:30-11:20 am (50 minutes)
Space is limited to 100 participants per session
Fall Session – Register on or before October 16th
** waitlist registration will open if session fills before deadline**
Winter Session Dates:
2026 Winter Session: Saturdays. 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7
PreK-K: 10:30-11:20 am (50 minutes)
Space is limited to 100 participants per session
Winter Session – Register on or before December 26th

Fees
Grades PreK-K: $90
**A non-refundable 3% banking fee and a $1 service fee will be added at the time of check out.**

Uniform
SYSA will provide a shirt to be handed out at the first Saturday session
Player Provides:
Labeled Basketball (25.5 ball) Labeled Water Bottle
Volunteer Coach:
- A Volunteer Head Coach is needed for each 1/2 court – All SYSA coaches are volunteers. For more information, contact receptionist@sysa.com
- The Volunteer Head Coach will receive 50% off one child’s registration per division.
- LINK for registration procedures. The Head coach will receive their 50% credit after the program starts.
- Online Registrations are confirmed by email; if information is omitted notify SYSA via reply email.
