SYSA Jr. NBA Academy for Grades 1st – 4th: Fall and Winter Sessions
We’re proud to partner with the Jr. NBA to bring top-notch basketball instruction to Spokane’s young athletes! The SYSA Jr. NBA Academy follows the official NBA curriculum, focusing on skill development, confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Each session includes 30 minutes of drills and 30 minutes of live play, and every participant gets an official Jr. NBA jersey!
Winter Session Dates: 5 Week Session
Registration CLOSED – Waitlist Open
2026 Winter Session: Grades 1-4: Saturdays 1/10, 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7
3rd & 4th Grade: 8:15-9:15 am (60 minutes) Space is limited to 100 participants per session
1st & 2nd Grade: 9:25-10:25 am (60 minutes) Space is limited to 100 participants per session
Winter Session – Register on or before December 18th
**waitlist registration will open if session fills before deadline
Fall Session Dates: 5 Week Session

2025 Fall Session: Grades 1 – 4 : Saturdays 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/22, 12/6 (no session on 11/29 for Thanksgiving holiday)
3rd & 4th Grade: 8:15-9:15 am (60 minutes) Space is limited to 40 participants per session
1st & 2nd Grade: 9:25-10:25 am (60 minutes) Space is limited to 60 participants per session
Fall Session – Register on or before October 9th

Fees
Grades 1-4: $105
**A non-refundable 3% banking fee and a $1 service fee will be added at the time of check out.**

Uniform
SYSA will provide Jr. NBA Jersey which will be handed out at the first session
Player Provides:
Labeled Basketball (1st -2nd: 27.5 ball, 3-4th: 28.5 ball)
Labeled Water Bottle
Volunteer Coach:
- A Volunteer Head Coach is needed for each 1/2 court – All SYSA coaches are volunteers. For more information, contact receptionist@sysa.com
- The Volunteer Head Coach will receive 50% off one child’s registration per division
- LINK for registration procedures. The Head coach will receive their 50% credit after the program starts.
- Online Registrations are confirmed by email; if information is omitted notify SYSA via reply email.
