Spring Track & Field

Please send an email to caity@sysa.com with: your player’s name, grade and closest high school. We will let you know if there is a spot available for your player.  We are looking for coaches – we will prioritize your registration if you are willing to coach in an area that we need a coach.

SYSA Track & Field is a fun, recreational spring program for youth, grades 1 through 6. The Track & Field season begins in April.

Five Friday & Saturday meets make up the Track & Field season. Each meet is at a different area high school and consists of 3 events; events rotate every meet to give the kids experience competing in various events.

Registration

Meets: April 13th–May 12th

Registration before March 8th  [first come, first serve]
Grades 1-2  $85
Grades 3-4  $85
Grades 5-6  $95

Registration after March 8th

Teams

Teams are put together on a first come, first serve basis. Participants registered on or before the registration deadline will receive priority placement on teams, however we can not guarantee there will be room on specific teams.  Participants registered after this deadline will only be placed on teams if space is available.

Practices

Begin after the coaches meeting
Days/Times determined by the coach–SYSA will not know when practices are until the coaches meeting.

Grades 3-4 & 5-6:  Saturday Mornings [4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12]

 IMPORTANT:

  • Volunteer Coach is needed before a team starts – All SYSA coaches are volunteers.

  • Online Registrations are confirmed by email; if information is omitted, please notify SYSA via reply email.

 

PLAYERS - If you prefer to not register online you can download and print the registration form and turn it into the SYSA Office.
